Jolanda van de Kamer appointed Chief Operating Officer at Buma/Stemra

4 October 2012

As of 1 November 2012, Jolanda G.M. van de Kamer has been appointed Chief Operating Officer of Buma/Stemra. Ms van de Kamer has a board-level role that involves managing the Buma/Stemra back office, with the focus primarily on optimisation of the processes and distribution of the payments. She will also be responsible for international operational cooperation.

Ms van de Kamer comes from ING, where she has held a variety of commercial and operational/IT positions since 1998, both in the Netherlands and internationally. Her last function was as COO for the insurance arm of ING in Eastern and Central Europe. Before that she was COO for the Asian region of the wholesale banking operations, based in Singapore.

Hein van der Ree is pleased that Ms van de Kamer is joining. “For us, Jolanda van de Kamer is exactly the right person in just the right place. Her extensive management experience – including operations management, outsourcing and controlling IT projects – will be very useful to us during this period of upheavals within Buma/Stemra. I’m convinced that she will also be a valuable addition to the board here and I’m looking forward to working with her.”

Her arrival means that the board of Buma/Stemra will comprise Hein van der Ree (CEO), Wieger Ketellapper (CFO), Anja Kroeze (general counsel) and Jolanda van de Kamer (COO).
