The Toonzetters jury announces its list of selected works
5/4/2009
The second Toonzetters event will take place on 29 and 30 August. The aim of Toonzetters is to show how much talent and variation the Netherlands has on offer in contemporary composed music.
Toonzetters will put the spotlight on the best Dutch works of 2008 once again, both for a wider audience and for schedulers both at home and abroad. These works will be performed by a number of leading orchestras, ensembles and musicians. On the last evening, Sunday 30 August, the jury will announce which composer has won the € 10.000 Buma Toonzetters Award for 2008.
