The Dutch Writers Camp website got launched on the 1st of July. Since the 16th of July this website also has an English version which proved to be necessary because of the heavy international traffic the website received.
Over 500 songwriters have registered, together they uploaded well over 600 songs and 160 video´s. Over 53.000 votes have been casted. More then 15.000 unique visitors have viewed the Dutch Writers Camp website meaning an average amount of 2.388 daily visitors. The site has been viewed in over 75 countries with visitors viewing the website around four and a half minutes.
What will be happening in the next period?
People can register for the Dutch Writers Camp up until the 31st of August. Contestants are then challenged to write a song according to specified criteria. The number of votes and the professional jury will decide which ten songwriters have written the best song and are to proceed to the finals. The ten lucky winners will be taking part in the Dutch Writers Camp that will take place in Amsterdam from the 26th until the 30th of October.
