Buma Cultuur will turn its hand to anything, as long as it benefits Dutch music as a product. For example, Buma Cultuur organises and supports festivals to help focus attention on the nation’s music, both at home and abroad. It makes sure that Dutch music can be heard on the radio and TV. It awards prizes to proven talents and organises information days and training courses for artists who are just starting out. These and other activities ensure that Dutch music works of all genres get the promotion they deserve.
